A EMT-P from Chicago Said
"I am very satisfied with this product, I have told every paramedic about it, it only takes seconds to put on, while saving a lot of time for the rest of PT assessment. I recomend this to others so you can see for your self the rapid electrodes. Thank you guys."
A nationally registered EMT-P from South Carolina said "The feed back has been very positive. Even on the first use, application only took 30 to 45 seconds. The pads stick very well, which is one problem we're facing with our current pads. Each time I have used them, there is a nice clear tracing that is easy to interpret. Another added plus that I have noticed has been a decrease in tangling of cables when stored. As you know, when loose, no matter how carefully stored they quickly turn into a "nest" of cables."
A User had this to say “ I got some of these. They are pretty cool, and the video
is pretty good, however, you cant really see the data quality on your strip in
the video. The electrodes can be cut individually if you want to do a right
side inferior lead view or posterior view. So people, don’t be discouraged by
the one long strip of electrodes. You can take your shears and cut them out individually.
Also, these work for peds, however the electrodes are very large. They need to
make a smaller set for peds”
A user from the San Antonio area said " I hope San Antonio Fire Department can get these asap. What a time saver"
A user also said "I have used these, and they are so easy to use. Very quick to apply"
Another user said "Oh this is awesome!"
Another user said "Awesome product!! First application ever was less than thirty seconds and that was on a larger female patient"
A user from Florida said "I am a medic in Florida. I have done hundreds of 12 leads in the field. These Ready Electrodes are da bomb! Super fast and efficient"
A Nurse said "Great Idea...As A Cardiac Nurse, I sure wish I had these when I was working!!!"
Another user said "Nice that it keeps the 12 lead wires on a Lifepack from being tangled. Made applying much easier"
Another user said "Easy to use as it keeps the wires tangle free. No hunting for each numbered electrode prior to placement which decreases chest time"
A user from Ohio said "Just received the sample of Ready Electrodes today in the mail. I was able to use a set the for the first time on a 452lbs male patient and was impressed at not only how fast and simple they were to place on the patient, but at how easy they stretched to fit onto this individual who was obese"
About William B. Crosby & Ready Electrodes, LLC
I am the Manager of Ready Electrodes, LLC. I have been treating patients as an EMT since 1991 and as a Paramedic since 1994. During these years I often found it difficult and time consuming to perform a 12 lead ECG in the field. I have often thought of ways to improve patient care and streamline this procedure; but, found my ideas to be cost prohibitive or unrealistic until now. I have developed several products, now patented #8,626,260 B2 that allow for rapid ECG's to be performed by hospitals, doctor offices and pre-hospital providers. These products are cost effective, reliable, convenient and efficient.
I began developing these products in March of 2009. Some products have been completed and are being marketed while others are under further development and testing. Our products can be applied much faster than conventional electrodes. I believe that the accurate and rapid diagnosis of a cardiac condition will allow for faster treatment. It is my desire to allow health care providers who use the Rapid Pad products to perform an ECG quickly and diagnose their patients prior to the patient entering cardiac arrest. Cardiac arrest can occur at any time and without warning during a cardiac event; therefor, time is of the essence. Give our products a try, I am certain you will be satisfied with the results. A minute or two saved could change a life.
